The Musics
‘The Return of Charlie Tupperman’
Charlie Tupperman
Follow the continuing adventures of Charlie Tupperman as he performs his second original set in front of a live audience. Once again, things go horribly wrong for Charlie and his band as his ‘intimate performance’ goes from ‘not that great’ to ‘chaos incarnate’. This album has ‘wowed’ and ‘beguiled’ audiophiles who have a penchant for the absurd and confusing.
‘You’ve Got Lepeniotis and a Bad Case of the Browns’
Peter Lepeniotis & Paul Brown
Over the course of 2 & 1/2 years, this album was made by the two titled characters. Ensconced in musical genres that vary from ‘alt rock pepperings’ to ‘epic orchestral compositions’ this concept album invites the listener to close his or her eyes and imagine a world where nothing quite makes sense.
‘The Donkey Oatie Cocktail Lounge Presents:
Charlie Tupperman & The Kookalabanza Trio’
The first of what may end up being a long line of Charlie Tupperman albums whereby a performance in a small intimate venue degenerates from bad to worse. Follow Charlie and his band as performances are mired by exploding instruments, car crashes, and the inconceivably early inferno that burns the stage to the ground. Confusing but catchy.
‘Everything’s Coming Up Brown’
Paul Brown
Quickly following the breakup of German band Eurobot, lead singer/composer Paul Brown makes a clean break, moves to North America and releases his first (and ultimately last) solo album. Not unlike the previous 2 Eurobot albums, this album also went missing after it’s initial release and has only surfaced now. This album is quite experimental and is not for the average music listener.
‘Blips And Blops And Radio-Awesome Blip-Blops’
Eurobot
Partially recorded in Europe (seriously) this album was Eurobot’s pinnacle of fame. The album sold in various record shoppes in Berlin (2 in total) and was an underground sensation in the late 1970’s. This particular album has been called the inspiration to the the new wave movement of the 80’s and ultimately the inspiration for all popular music as we know it today.
‘Disco Robot’
Eurobot
The first album of Eurobot can be seen as ‘low tech’ by today’s standards but it cannot be argued that the movement it began was nothing less than the re-invention of sound. Two artists, one band, a world united.
‘A Downhome Old Fashioned Good Time Christmas’
Craig Schiele, Dave Bell, Paul Brown
Recorded over the course of many years and is still currently being added to (and shall be for the rest of the artists days), this album will grow with you... not unlike ringworm.
Like Christmas, this offer will only be available to the public from November 1st to December 25th of every year, and then it’s GONES-VILLE, U.S.A.!!!
